Sheila Bennett

Dr. Sheila Bennett was born and raised in Northern California until her family relocated to the Boston area.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Colgate University in upstate New York.  After graduation, she worked at Boston University Medical School in a breast cancer research laboratory for one year before returning to graduate school for her veterinary degree at the Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Bennett graduated from Tufts in 2005 and then completed a one year rotating internship in emergency/critical care and specialty practice at New England Animal Medical Center in West Bridgewater, MA.

Dr. Bennett joined Bulger Veterinary Hospital in 2006 and is especially interested in geriatric care, dermatology and dentistry.  In her spare time, Dr. Bennett loves reading, being active outside and spending time with friends and family.  She is kept busy by her furry crew, her time is divided between cats that don’t all get along, a hound dog that likes to steal food every chance she gets, and a sweet old soul that just wants to be loved every minute of the day.
